I think Polymorphism is a one of the concept of OOP’s…
The name itself it’s a combination of two words Poly and Morphism…
Poly means Many…
Morphic means Changes…
For example you know Chameleon(oosaravelli) it changes it’s color according to its situation…

Polymorphism:-
Polymorphism literally means “many forms”.
It’s the ability to use the same interface to execute different code.
Java achieves polymorphism via Method overloading and Method overriding
Method Overloading:- (Static Polymorphism)
It occurs when there are many methods in a class with the same name but different number/type of arguments.
The version of an overloaded method that will be invoked is determined at compile time based on the number / type of arguments passed in.
Method Overriding:- (Run Time Polymorphism)
It occurs when a subclass has a method with the same name and type signature as a method in the super class.
The version of an overridden method that will be invoked is determined at run time based on the type of object that invokes the method.
Operator overloading: (Static Polymorphism)
Operator overloading is a concept in Java where an operator behaves differently with different operands.
In Java, user-defined operator overloading is not supported. The one operator which already comes overloaded is + operator.
The operator “+” can be used both in numeric addition and string concatenation.
