React JS is one of the tools. You need to know the underlying concepts and fundamentals. But as a fresher, if you are stronger in at least one, it is okay. But remember, you can land as a front-end engineer only. After joining, please don’t restrict. You should keep learning

I have some doubts regarding a Springboot project. I am a fresher as of now, and have newly joined a startup, they have not given any training and directly giving tasks. So the Q might be quite easy but please bear with me. So I have an API, I need to add 2 new fields to it, and to these 2 fields, I also need to add a dropdown menu, out of which user must have to select one of the options otherwise gets an error. Can someone give me a rough idea how to do it?
